Saggio sulla storia naturale del Chili /

The Jesuit author of this work was born in Chili in 1740, entered the Society of Jesus in 1755 and was expelled from the country like other Jesuits in 1767. He eventually settled in Italy where he wrote this history of his homeland in the Italian language. Cf. Backer-Sommervogel.
