| Item Description: | These volumes are from the 'pirated' edition of the famous Journal de Trevoux that was produced in Holland by a Protestant editor, Jean-Louis de Lorme, to give another point fo view to the original Jesuit work printed in France. De Lorme's plan was to present, word for word, the articles of the Journal and then add at the end other articles or commentary which might refute them. |
