T.p. within double-ruled black borders, with type ornament decoration in corners and centers of side pieces; large ornamental woodcut initials; endpieces.
Jarque's dedication to the king, Philip IV, dated Dec. 12, 1661 in Albarrazin [i.e. Albarracn̕, Spain]; cf. p. [3]-[12] of first sequence.
Approval by Jarque's brother, Juan Antonio Jarque of the Company of Jesus, dated November 15, 1661 (p. [13]-[16] of first sequence).
