| Deskrypcja: | In the preface Vincart says this alphabet took him five years, composing an éloge on a Sunday once a month. He planned a second volume, for letters M through Z. This did not appear, but seven years later he published Elogia Mariana alphateticis literis ordine digesta, based on the same theme, but as explanations of each title, rather than verse. Another text, Paraphrases dediées a messieurs de la Sodalité de la Sainte Vierge by a Congreganiste, follows on pages 53-63. Engraving on page i, preceding title page. Signatures: A-D⁸ E⁴. |
