The letter reviews the mission outposts, including the College in Manila, the region's headquarters, Antipoli, Taitai, Santiago, the island of Pintados, Cebù, Bohol, Dulach, Tinagor & Cariaga, and Ottona. There is also description of the landscape, such as an infestation of crocodiles in Taitai, and description of indigenous peoples, such as the members of the Iti tribe in Santiago who shun daylight and live in caves.
