Headings on leaves [1a]-[2a] and both colophons with Fust and Schoeffer woodcut device red-printed.
Opening to each book extensively rubricated in red and blue, while book numbers and illuminated capitals appear on each page. Elaborate hand-drawn illustrations set this copy apart from other existing copies. An unsigned 19th century note on final leaf verso attributes the rubrication to a monk, Lazarus von Andlau, below which is an 18th century engraved armorial bookplate. Re-bound in 20th century dark green morocco, gold-tooled to a Grolieresque panel design.
