Summary:Celebration of ANZUS Plowshares, whose members had protested nuclear facilities at Griffiss Air Base in Rome, N.Y. The program includes speakers and music. Speakers include ANZUS Plowshares members Sue Frankel, Bill Streit, Moana Cole, and Ciaron O'Reilly, who later performs songs. Anne Montgomery also speaks about her antiwar experiences in Iraq. Following this, Joyce Katzberg performs protest and freedom songs. Daniel Berrigan makes a surprise appearance to read poetry, and Joe Urgo, a Gulf War protestor who was one of the first arrests under the Flag Protection Act, invites Catholic Workers to his upcoming trial. Catholic Worker member Jackie Allen provides introductions. The Living Theatre not present on original recording.
