He gives his background in the Catholic Worker Movement, having initially worked at Emmaus House in Garden City, Kan. before moving to Holy Family House in Kansas City, Mo. He then talks about his decision to forego joining the priesthood in favor of working at a Catholic Worker house and how the obligations of the laity differ from those of the priesthood. He also discusses his journalistic work and why journalism is important to the Catholic Worker Movement. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
