Marcia Timmel discusses her involvement with the pro-life movement and how it led her to be involved with the Catholic Worker Movement. She talks about her background, including the despair she felt after having an abortion and how it led her to work with pregnant women. She discusses some of the frustrations she had with elements of the pro-life movement and how those frustrations eventually led her to the Catholic Worker Movement, Dorothy Day Catholic Worker in Washington, D.C., and eventually the Olive Branch Catholic Worker House. She talks about meeting her husband, Paul Magno, and the difficulties of raising a family in a Catholic Worker environment. She discusses her civil disobedience and the strain that Paul's incarceration put on their marriage and on her work at the Olive Branch house. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
