| Summary: | Firmin Desloge Hospital, completed in 1933 with funds donated by the family of the late Firmin Desloge, who graduated from SLU in the 1850s and sent his sons here as well. Besides being the primary hospital of the SLU Medical School and the SLU Nursing program, it housed the Firmin Desloge Dental Clinic, in association with the SLU School of Dentistry, which handled some 1600 patients per year who could not otherwise afford dental care.
