Printed in gothic type; printed marginal notes and line numbers. Woodcuts: title vignette (53 x 46 mm.) of St. Francis receiving the stigmata; full-page portrait of St. Catherine of Siena and her wheel; one large portrait initial, and numerous foliated initials.
